Russian city to host first Corpus Christi procession since 1918

The Russian city of St. Petersburg–known for decades as Leningrad–has granted permission for a Corpus Christi procession for the first time since the Russian Revolution in 1918.

Archbishop Paolo Pezzi of Moscow will lead the Eucharistic procession down the main street of St. Petersburg on Sunday, June 26.
